Senior Vice President and Head of Chemistry at Nimbus Therapeutics, with expertise in medicinal chemistry and structure‑ and computation‑guided drug discovery.
He earned his Ph.D. from Ohio State University in 1996 under Prof. Leo Paquette and completed postdoctoral research at Columbia University with Prof. Samuel J. Danishefsky, contributing to the synthesis of Yondelis®. He spent 18 years at Merck, rising to Director of Discovery Chemistry, and later led Oncology Chemistry at AstraZeneca Boston (2016–2020).
At Nimbus, he oversees chemistry strategy and innovation. He has authored over 50 publications and holds more than 55 patents, having led teams that delivered over a dozen clinical candidates and two marketed drugs.
