Instructions for Submitting Contributions

All submissions must be sent exclusively through the online form titled “SUBMISSION OF CONTRIBUTIONS”.

Please note that if you are participating as a Plenary Speaker or Invited Speaker, you should not use this form to send your abstract. In these cases, the Technical Secretariat will contact you directly and provide an alternative form for uploading your contribution.

Each registered participant may submit only one contribution as presenting author, regardless of format (oral or poster). While a participant may be listed as co-author on multiple works, they may only deliver one presentation during the Congress.

IMPORTANT: maximum number of participants is limited to 150.

Abstracts must be written in English, using the template that will be made available on this website. The maximum length is one A4 page.

Formatting Guidelines

Margins: Top 2.5 cm; bottom 2.5 cm; left 3 cm; right 3 cm
Title: Uppercase, bold, centered (Font: Arial, 12 pt)
Authors: Initial of first name + surname, centered (Font: Arial, 10 pt). The first author must be the person presenting the work, whether oral or invited.
Affiliation: Include institutional details and the email of the presenting author; italicized and centered (Font: Arial, 10 pt).
Keywords (max. 3): Italicized (Font: Arial, 10 pt)
Body of the abstract: Justified text (Font: Arial, 10 pt). It must allow assessment of the scientific and technical interest of the contribution. Figures, tables, graphs, and references may be included.
References must be cited using numbers in square brackets, in Arial 9 pt, placed after punctuation marks. Follow the formats indicated below for journals [1] and books [2]. Please do not use Word’s automatic referencing or footnote tools.
[1] A. Author1, A. Author2, A. Author3. Journal. Pub. 20**, Vol., XXX–XX.
[2] A. Author1, A. Author2. Book Title. ed. no., Publisher, City. 20**.

Once the abstract has been prepared according to the template, save your file with the presenting author’s surname and name, and the preferred presentation format (flash or poster).
